Installation photograph (Canvas) At the heart of this body of paintings is paper (carta). Salvaged from a damaged collection of discarded artbooks, the paper itself is full of secrets and traces of its past use, time absorbed and etched into itself, discoloured with yesterdays. These works are not about painted colour, rather a found colour, the marks I made are prompts towards the inherent tone of voice in the paper itself.
